Yamaha R3 is strictly for those who wish to upgrade from the lightweight 150cc and 200cc motorcycles, keeping power under control and equally performing on roads as well as tracks. Yamaha YZF-R3 competes with Ninja 300 directly and indirectly with the KTM RC390, which is single cylinder while two others are twin cylinder in the configuration. Yamaha has temporarily suspended the R3 in India and is expected to be re-released soon with the BS4 upgrade and could also get ABS this time.
